Selective Service Status

The Selective Service Status page of the demographics flow records information about the job seeker's compliance with selective service requirements. A job seeker's selective service compliance affects their eligibility for WIOA programs. Below is a screenshot of the page and a description of the question.

  • This page displays for job seekers who are at least 18 years old and who were born on or after January 1, 1960. This page displays to all job seekers, regardless of how they answer "Sex" in Registration Information. Links to selective service registration and guidelines display in the hint text.

    Have you complied with the Selective Service requirements?(Drop-Down) Select from the following options:
    • Yes
    • No
    • Exempt from Selective Service
    • If a user has identified as female in Registration Information, and answers No to the Selective Service question, a warning displays to explain why Yes should be selected.

  2. Select Next. The Eligibility to Work in the U.S. page displays.
