Farmworker Status

The Farmworker pages of the demographics flow record information about the job seeker's participation in migrant or seasonal farmwork or food processing. The job seeker may receive additional services based on their farmworker status. The following instructions apply to the Farmworker Status and Farmworker Details pages. Below are screenshots of the pages, as well as a table listing each field and description of the content required.

Farmworker Status

  1. Complete the following questions. All fields marked with (required) indicate a field that must be answered. All job seekers must answer the Farmworker Status question: "Are you a migrant or seasonal farmworker, or the dependent of someone who is? Read the definitions below if you are unsure."
    • Review the definitions of a migrant or seasonal farmworker or food processor, and the description of eligibility for the National Farmworker Jobs Program.

  2. Select Next.
    1. If you answer Yes, the Farmworker Details page displays.
    2. If you answer No, the Employment Status page displays.

Farmworker Details

    Can you establish your relationship as the worker’s child, grandchild, or great grandchild (including legally adopted children); stepchild; sibling, half-sibling, or stepsibling; parent, grandparents, or other direct ancestor (excluding foster parents); foster child; stepparent; uncle or aunt; niece or nephew; father- or mother-in-law; son- or daughter-in-law?(Drop-down) Select Yes or No.
  2. Select Next. The Employment Status page displays.
    • If all questions on the Farmworker Details page are answered No, the Farmworker Status defaults to No.
